We need more love stories told from a black man's point of view. Black men love, too. They are not all dogs or emotionally aloof. They feel deeply. They get excited about new possibilities. They get insecure and shy. And that makes them human. Normalize humanizing black men.

Setups:
--Jabari moves into a new apartment. 
--Jabari runs into ex-GF, Carmen.
--Meadow is preparing for an art show. She takes Jabari's photograph.
--Meadow takes Jabari to lunch at a burger spot.
Payoffs: (Read as because of the aforementioned, what follows happens. For example: Because Jabari moves into a new apartment, he meets Meadow.)
--Jabari meets Meadow. 
--Carmen causes a complication with Meadow.
--Meadow hangs Jabari's pic in her art show, showing that she's choosing him... if he'll still choose her. 
--Meadow and Jabari decide to choose each other again at the burger spot.
