 MASTER: WTF is this movie about?... other than the obvious: racism. This is what happens when theme trumps story. There are so many scenes that are pure race buzz words that don't push the story forward because there is no story. Just theme. And theme is not enough.
 LIGHTYEAR - Pixar usually doesn't miss with story structure, so it was no surprise that LIGHTYEAR handled the traditional 3-Act structure well.  THE ASSISTANT: If you want to know what it is to be an assistant in this industry, watch this film. Now streaming on Hulu. TOP GUN: MAVERICK - HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MOVIE!!?? Finally, someone does a sequel worth sequeling. So how did they do it? #NoSpoilers (kinda). |
